North Shore Auto Service began as Zineckers Auto Repair in 1987, own by John Zinecker. In 2001, Cinto was hired by Mr Zinecker as a tech. In 2008, Cinto, along with a silent investor, obtained the business from Mr. Zinecker and the shop was renamed North Shore Auto Service. At this same time, Cinto's brother, Manuel, joined the business as an auto technician. For the next 8 years, the 2 brothers continued Mr Zineckers legacy and business model of being trustworthy, honest and offering services at a fair price. In 2016, the 2 brothers became business partners when the silent partner withdrew from from the business. Cinto and Manuel have worked together to build a very long and loyal clientel 

Since Zineckers Auto Repair, eventually evolving into North Shore Auto Service, the shop has always been family operated.
